Week 4 has come and gone, so let’s go ahead and find out what’s on our plate for this week. Here are the Top-10 Two Start Pitchers in each league, some interesting notes, and the weather reports.
Two Start Pitchers
AL Top-10
- Jared Weaver (at BOS, CLE): We swear, he’s a two start pitcher this week!
- Jon Lester (LAA, MIN): Always a slow starter, proving once again why he’s an ace.
- Dan Haren (at BOS, CLE): He’s ridiculous. Remember how low he was ranked pre-season? Who wouldn’t take this guy as their number one now?
- Justin Verlander (NYY, at TOR): Tough match up in NY, but you start this guy no matter what.
- C.C. Sabathia (at DET, at TEX): Decent start, but you’d like to see the big fella get some more wins.
- Alex Ogando (at SEA, NYY): This reliever turned starter is proving the the Rangers did the right thing with Feliz.
- Clay Buchholz (LAA, MIN): I refuse to believe he’s as bad as he’s pitching right now. His ERA over the last two weeks is looking better (3.75).
- Jeremy Guthrie (at CHW, TB): His 2.53 ERA is still available in most Yahoo! public leagues.
- Josh Tomlin (at OAK, at LAA): Might be a little bit of magic swirling around Tomlin these days, but that’s ok.
- Bartolo Colon (at DET, at TEX): He’s big, and he’s fat, and I promise, he’s going to start two this week.
